Andrew is one of Queensland’s most respected botanists with over 20 years’ experience working within professional environmental consulting firms and the Queensland Government. Oberonia Botanical Services was founded to provide clients with personalised and superior quality flora and vegetation survey and assessment services throughout Queensland, at a cost that is highly competitive compared to that offered by the larger, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancies.

Experience: Andrew is one of Queensland’s most respected botanists with over 20 years’ experience working within professional environmental consulting firms and the Queensland Government. His specialist skills include Regional Ecosystem verification and mapping, ecological assessments, vegetation and weed mapping, approval documentation, project management, and developing/delivering training packages on Regional Ecosystem and BioCondition assessment methods. Andrew has been involved in numerous publications and presentations including co-authoring BioCondition: A Condition Assessment Framework for Terrestrial Biodiversity in Queensland (DERM, 2011).
Andrew has undertaken numerous botanical surveys and Regional Ecosystem assessments across Queensland, Western Australia and Victoria for projects in the mining, gas, infrastructure, government and planning sectors.
